The host was so helpful and great! The home cooked food was one of the best and served so beautifully. We loved our room, the garden for yoga, the rooftop for relaxing, the location close to the baby elephant orphans station, and also the massages from Shani!!! I even went in two days for a total of 3,5h of massages. Honestly I can just warmly recommend you to stay there, you will have all you need and even more for an amazing Udawalawe experience and you can book Safari and straight with the owner, they can organise everything for you. We travelled from Canada and decided to go by what other travellers had said and glad we stayed here. The staff found out it was our anniversary and went out of their way to decorate our room - a lovely touch. The place is clean, the room was pristine, the breakfast is good and the staff are excellent. The hotel has its own safari jeep and we organized everything with them, it was probably the best thing we did. We’d go back.

The Mango Tree House is a very beautiful place. Everything was very clean and the outdoor shower was very special. We received some cake and tea when we checked in. We directly felt welcome. The breakfast was also very delicious and good!

The room is perfect! Great bed with a mosquito net, fan, shower and awesome balcony to sit on and watch the elephants go by! We did the safari with them and loved it so much! Was such an amazing experience! You can order whichever meals you please and it was always a feast!

The Countryside Udawalawe is located in Udawalawe and features a pool with a view and garden views. It was one of the best stays during our Sri Lanka trip - the property is beautiful, well maintained and very comfortable. We loved the pool area and the fact that we felt surrounded by the nature. Also the rooms were very spacious and tastefully designed. The hotel manager was beyond helpful and personally organized the fixing of my phone screen when it got broken. He also organized a very nice morning safari and a great massage for us for a reasonable price. We loved every minute of our stay at The Countryside Udawalawe and would have wished to spend there more time!

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, Private Organic House is situated in Udawalawe. This was a very clean family run business. Quiet and serene, only 15 mins walk from town shops. They also provided one of the most satisfying Safari's I have done.
