Loved the position right on the harbour. All sound was blocked out when balcony doors were closed but we loved having them open as much as possible to let the sea air flow through and to hear the sea when possible. We loved the 2 balconies and spent our afternoons and evenings sitting watching the goings in the harbour and on the street. It was comfortable, bright and airy. Bed was very comfortable and shower and hot water were great. So appreciative of the cold bottle of bubbles waiting for us after a long days travel from Taormina. Bus, train then ferry. Thank you Franco. So pleased we only had to walk across the street when we got there. It was the perfect base to explore Lipari and also to venture out to the other islands.

We could check in earlier and when leaving, the hosts allowed us to leave the baggage while we had a last bath and once back from the beach, we could have a shower outside. The rooms are nice, clean and big enough. La Rosamarina is a great place to stay when you are on Stromboli. We would definitely come back!
