Great location to see the northern lights, sadly we didn’t see them but the group the night before and after did since is secluded spot. Lovely waffles for breakfast, clean room with everything you need. We got dinner from a food truck in Hella but also had great kitchen facilities if you want to cook your own.

It was nice and cozy, perfect silence around us. Close to Secret Lagune. On the way to Sellafoss waterfalls.

This family-run property is 400 metres off Route 1 and 15 km from Selfoss. It offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Homemade bread, jam and pastries are served for breakfast. The staff was very kind, the room was big and clean, and design of the room was also amazing. Breakfast was also delicious, it was a wonderful experience.

This was one of our favourite accommodations during our entire trip. The rooms are lit up and some decor made it feel really homie and cozy. We were also able to see a glimpse of the Northern lights from the parking lot. Great place to stay if you're a tourist looking for a place while travelling East.

Set in Vík and only 1 km from Reynisfjara Beach, Prestshús 2 Guesthouse offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. A nice host, felt very welcomed. A brilliant location just a 5 min drive from the black sand beach. A peaceful homely place, would stay again.

Offering a garden and lake view, Guesthouse Henia Bed&Spas is set in Selfoss, 43 km from Thingvellir National Park and 21 km from Ljosifoss. Lovely hot tub, clean place, kitchen with all we needed (even coffee etc included!) and it's nicely located on the golden circle. Simply perfect.

Landbrot Guesthouse is situated in Kirkjubæjarklaustur. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurant was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay!
