This privately-run guest house in central Reykjavík is 100 metres from Hallgrímskirkja Church and 7 minutes’ walk from Laugavegur shopping street. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and a TV. It really had the extra step. Offered fresh coffee, also breakfast although it wasn’t included in the price. It even offered free gas canisters left behind by other tourists. I loved how caring the staff was and also its location. Perfect stay in Reykjavik. Great value for money. My husband is really picky and he really loved stayin there.

Situated in Reykjavik’s old city centre, this family-run property is across the street from Hallgrim’s Church. It offers a communal kitchen, as well as modern and fresh rooms with wooden furnishings. We absolutely loved our stay at Guesthouse Sunna- it was in the most perfect location and we were very lucky to have a room with a view of the Hallsgrim's church and Einar Johnsson museum and a balcony. The room was super cosy and comfy and level of cleanliness was exceptional + staff were very diligent in housekeeping everyday. Bonus to have the kitchen facilities and places to sit and eat and cook, make tea etc. We will definitely recommend and hope to come back again.
