There was an adorable cat that was our friend for the night. Elsa took the time to welcome us in person, show us around the facilities, and baked us fresh bread for the evening.

All units at the guest house are equipped with a seating area and a TV. the hosts were very nice.. we had a problem with out car and they lended us some oil. the house was big and nicely furnished and the jacuzzi was prepared uppon arrival

Situated on a horse farm by Iceland’s Ring Road, this bed and breakfast is 8 km from Höfn village. It offers bright and basic rooms with free WiFi access and mountain views. Everything, the host was really nice, gave us tips. The place was really clean. Some chocolates in our room, very sweet. Breakfast amazing, a lot of food.

Overlooking Lake Lagarfljót, this guest house is 5 minutes’ drive from central Egilsstadir. All rooms include free WiFi access, a fridge and a private bathroom with shower. Would definitely stay here again. The room had its own private bathroom which had us crazy after staying a couple of nights in other guesthouses with shared bathroom. The size of the room was big enough for 2 people and 4 pieces of luggage and the beds were really comfy. One of my favorite accommodations of my trip.

This family-run guest house, off the Ring Road in southeast Iceland, is 7 km from Höfn. Free WiFi is available. we unfortunately stayed only one night. we really liked the house - felt like at home.
