Very special breakfast room and adjacent garden. Breakfasts were perfect. Our room was in the style we expected for this heritage building. Can easily walk to a local pub for dinner and drink. Host was very friendly and eager to give good advice.

They are very welcoming and they give you very good tips about the area. The house and the room are very big, nice and clean. The breakfast is magnificent!

Situated within 39 km of Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre and 43 km of Dun na Si Heritage & Genealogical Centre in Birr, Brona Dempsey features accommodation with seating area. The host Brona , husband Kevin and daughter Isabelle were most welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Brona was also very informed on places to visit and eat. The property was immaculate, well appointed with lovely outdoor area.

Offering a garden and garden view, Clonmacnoise B&B is located in Clonmacnoise, 500 metres from Cross of the Scriptures and 18 km from Athlone Institute of Technology. We stayed at the Clonmacnoise B&B for 5 nights. Joe and Jackie are exceedingly gracious hosts who folded us into their family. Breakfast was unbelievable! "A full Irish breakfast" is a meal fit for a King! We had to leave at 4am to get to the Dublin Airport. Joe insisted on getting up to make us coffee and to cook breakfast so that we wouldn't have to stop along the way- so, so kind. Our stay was a delight from start to finish!

Lovely quiet location easy to walk to from Birr. Comfortable bed and the room was nice and clean. Carmel makes a sensational breakfast! Sausages were just the best and I loved her homemade scones too. Excellent value too, recommended.

This was a perfect choice for my stay. The room was clean, modern, comfortable, and spacious. Centrally located for everything I wanted to do; just a short driving distance. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and secure. Bernie, the hostess was lovely, friendly, and helpful; the whole family was friendly and considerate.

Well , I can't begin to express my gratitude to Marie the hostess with the mostest! What a lady ! My self and partner came to Tullamore on some sad circumstances which left us back and fourth to the local hospital. As we checked out this morning the weather wasn't great and Marie ( bless her ) with such a kind heart took myself and partner to the hospital with no questions asked! Blown away with such kindness & compassion. The B&B was beautiful from a city girl born and raised it was a dream to stay in such a gorgeous home , which btw really felt like home . Our room was beautiful and cosy , the ensuite bathroom with a shower a lovely big comfortable bed , tv , coffee machine all the extras and a kettle & everything spotless clean. There really wasn't anything else you could have needed. Joe greeted us and showed us to our room and couldn't have been any more open to us needing any and I mean anything at all to let him know. Thank you again for a wonderful stay & we will see you again. Your kindness will never go untold.

Loved everything. The owner and staff were fabulous and took great care of us. Had a wonderful two nights stay. Thanks for everything. Will be back.
