This beautiful guest house is run by a most lovely man. Bambang was an attentive host, speaks excellent English, and is always willing to help out with whatever you might need. The house has various sitting areas inside and out, a koi pond, and is on a quiet lane just off a main street with shops, restaurants, etc. A huge and delicious Indonesian breakfast is provided (and is different every day!), plus there are free 24 hour snacks and drinks. Also we hired an English speaking guide and driver to take us to our next stay at Borobudur for a very reasonable price. He lives right next door.

Located in the city of Yogyakarta, just 12 minutes drive away from Malioboro Shopping Street. Raintree Boutique Villa & Gallery is a classic interior villa with Javanese-European design. The whole stay was amazing. This small hotel offers the relaxation one needs after a busy day touring the city. Most importantly though, Pras and his team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Even before the stay Pras was quick in responding to questions and made sure we would have a safe trip from the airport to the hotel. During our stay, Pras and his team organized a driver for our trips to the temples and Surakarta and had great suggestions on sights to see and indonesian restaurants to go to.

The villa is beautifully decorated, with a large comfortable bed and a private terrace. The pool is shared but we always had it to ourselves which made it super special. The views across the rice fields are excellent, especially during breakfast when you can see farmers working in the fields. The sunset is stunning! Our host was also excellent, making sure our stay was maximised and got to see and do even more than we had planned. We highly recommend staying there, they also arranged a driver for three days who were reliable and friendly, taking us everywhere we wanted and shared their local knowledge! Don’t hesitate and make sure you book your stay at Blue Garden!

Free WiFi access and complimentary parking are available. - Superb family, helpful and friendly. On the way from Borobudur to Prambanan, Wibowo offered extra service by stopping by temples along the way. He also gave me a free lift from the homestay to the entrance of the Prambanan Temple! I decided to hire him for my trip to religious sites outside the town. As a local, he is familiar with the road and he drives safe. I'm very happy with the tour. - The room is true to the advertised pictures. Very comfortable. - Very close to the Prambanan complex, very convenient if you want to wake up early and arrive there before the crowd. - Very satisfied with the meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

ViaVia Guesthouse is located in Yogyakarta, a 15-minute drive from the lively Malioboro shopping street and Yogyakarta Palace. It features free internet, a café and rooms with modern décor. Rooms were nice and clean, also the garden was a good spot for relaxing! :) the people from ViaVia are soooo nice and made our stay unforgettable. We stayed 4 nights instead of 2 as originally planned. Thank you so much guys, it was a pleasure to stay at your place! :)
