Best place ever to chill and feel part of the jungle. I did not want to leave. The food is incredible and all the team are so friendly. Recommend to book your jungle trek also, we did 2 days which was perfect. Amazing experience and amazing spot. Thank you :)

SeaGate Bungalows ligger precis stranden i Sabang och har en trädgård och en egen strand. Det finns en terrass och gäster har tillgång till gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. The Place was amazing. Great value for money. The room has a sea view, it is very quiet, comfortable, clean and you have a fridge, desk and drinking water in the room. Wifi works well and I could work and take online meetings with no problem. The food prepared at the restaurant is some of the best I have eaten in Indonesia. Because of Ramadan food options needed to be arranged in advance but the host cooked for us during lunch also because on the island there would have been very limited options otherwise. The best thing is the reef right in front of the property that is basically your backyard. Beautiful snorkeling you can stay in the water for hours. They arranged for us a pick up and drop off at the ferry port and also a scooter rental at a reasonable price.

Juma cottages ligger i Tuk Tuk och erbjuder boende med trädgård, terrass och restaurang. På Juma cottages är alla rum utrustade med balkong. I liked everything. The first of many positives was the owner coming to pick me up at the dock. He came back because I had a big suitcase. After spending one night at Juma Cottages, I extended my booking for one more week. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of Lake Toba. I strongly recommend Juma to anyone.

Best homestay in medan We really loved the owners they were so kind location is a bit out of medan but we didn't want to be near city center so was fine. Very nice house with beautiful garden, breakfast and coffee was great. Got to try lots of fruit from the garden and really enjoyed spending time with the hosts. They picked us up from airport and organized a shuttle bus to bukit lawang. Stay here if you are spending a night or two in medan on your way to other destinations.

Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys ligger i Bukit Lawang och har en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en restaurang. Bland de olika faciliteterna på detta boende finns en bar och grillmöjligheter. I stayed at the place for 2 nights, had a great tour with two guides working with the cheeky monkey. We saw monkeys, Orangutans(my two guides found them after about 2 hours of Trekking in the jungle), turtle, insects, plants, did a great tour for one day. Including rafting for about +/- 50 Euros/USD. The food in the cheeky monkey is quite expensive compared to other places in bukit lawang but it was really good. It definitely a recommendation, try the Gado-Gado - a vegetarian food. Chris from Austria

Romlan erbjuder 3-stjärnigt boende vid stranden i Tuk Tuk och har trädgård, gemensam lounge och restaurang. Utöver rumsservice har detta boende även en solterrass. En av de bästa ställen jag varit på under min snart tre månaders resa genom Asien! Boendet ligger centralt till, erbjuder allt man behöver! Otroligt fina rum, välstädat och oerhört prisvärt.

Fun Family Guest House n Jungle Tour ligger i Bukit Lawang. Detta pensionat med 2 stjärnor har ett gemensamt kök och bagageförvaring. Gästerna kan njuta av utsikten över floden. The guest house is located by a fast paced river. Families come to enjoy the swimming there and the place is full of laughter . Bukit Lawang is an idyllic village with cafes and small shops on riverside. I was travelling solo but was always finding myself in company. Butra, Maya and Juni made me feel most welcome. Great breakfast was always there when needed 😀.

Nachelle Homestay har utsikt över berget Sinabung och ligger 15 minuters promenad från centrala Berastagi. Gratis internet finns i de allmänna utrymmena. Mery is a wonderful host. Gives you all the information you need about the local area and how to get to and from the Homestay. Really clean. Nice and modern. Hot shower!! Simple breakfast on offer is nice and cheap. Great view from the rooftop of both volcanos. Perfect Homestay!
