The staff were exceptional, answered all our questions that we had, and assisted us with onward travel. They also booked our Ijen tour for 350K each. The breakfast was really nice. The morning we left, we left very early, before breakfast time, and without asking they packed us a takeaway breakfast which was so nice of them. Definately recommend staying here.

The stay was exceptional. Irene and her family, has thought about every detail of a pleasent and comfortable stay. There is nothing that you may need during your stay, that won't be provided to you in a quick and nice manner, (e.g. information, comfort and facilities). They went extra mile to hlep us with our early check in, late check out and many other small but important for us things. Worth mentioning Budi ( the driver we went for waterfall tour), who's driving skills were exceptional and we loved his company during the 8 hours together! Highly recommending him as well!

Marc and Erica are friendly and they tried their best to make us feel at home. The food is great, especially the banana pancakes in the morning ! The location of the guest house is close to the Ijen which is about a 30 minute drive. We also joined a tour of the Ijen organised by the guest house, which includes a local guide and the transportation to and from the guest house. The guest house in itself allows you to fully relax and recover by the pool or the small huts with comfortable sofa's. They have plenty of animals (otters, a goose, friendly cats and a dog) wandering around making you feel like you're in a national park.

Beautiful quiet location up in the hill. The house is completely new so everything is well cared for and clean. Rani and Oussama are just the most lovely hosts so it’s really hard to leave.

Nice, clean and comfy room. Staff was super nice and they helped me organize a great tour to Tumpak Sewu! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good place in Lumajang!

Помешкання Mountain Ecolodge розташовано в місті Gubukklakah, за 23 км від пам'ятки "Velodrome Malang" та за 24 км від пам'ятки "Bentoel Museum". This is the biggest surprise of my Indonesia trip! This place located in a small town near Malang. It runs by a family and Mrs. Mary took 2 of her independent rooms as hotel. There is super nice mountain view and the whole atmosphere is sooo chill. The room is quite big. The host even gave us some passion fruits and papaya grown from their farm. It is not far from Mt. Bromo and Tumpak Sewu - both takes 1.5h to drive there. There are hardly any tourists in this small town and when we were walking to a restaurant, the people were so curious and greeting us friendly, the kids on the street waved to us and say hello. It was such an amazing experience! The sunset of with rice field view in the small town is also really really beautiful. There is also a good and modern restaurant 20 min walk from our stay and it is designed to see the sunset with a big balcony, the food is very nice too
