We felt welcome and safe from the first minute, just like visiting old friends. Dimitris's intro to the island and tips for food/visits was so helpful! I loved the private terrace of room #3 and spent most of my time there reading and relaxing. The room was clean and tasteful. The location was also super convenient: 15 minutes walk downhill to Ermoupolis and 10 minutes uphill to Ano Syros. Taxis are quite cheap in the area, while if you choose to have a car, there is more than enough parking space.

Its a beautiful neo classic building with separate big rooms and private spaces. It is made with love and the owners are a proof to that. They are really nice and helpful. From the first day felt just normal being there. Comfortable beds, bride spaces. If you like old school this is definitely the place to stay.

The Achilleion is perfectly situated for leisurely walks around the picturesque town of Syros. The port with its taverns, seafront bars and cafes is a 5-minute walk. very well located, 10 min walk from the bus central station, 15/20 min walk from downtown Syros. My room was nicely furnished and had a beautiful view. the owners were very available and gave some advices on the location to visit on the island !
