We felt welcome and safe from the first minute, just like visiting old friends. Dimitris's intro to the island and tips for food/visits was so helpful! I loved the private terrace of room #3 and spent most of my time there reading and relaxing. The room was clean and tasteful. The location was also super convenient: 15 minutes walk downhill to Ermoupolis and 10 minutes uphill to Ano Syros. Taxis are quite cheap in the area, while if you choose to have a car, there is more than enough parking space.

I'm so glad for the ferry strike because if not we wouldn't have known about this accommodation. It was so charming and nicely decorated. There is a beautiful terrace at the roof of the building with sea view where we were served coffee and biscuits. The hosts are wonderful. It's right in the city center around restaurants, shops, 5 min walk from the port. Definitely will be staying here when we go back to Syros.

The picturesque Miaouli Square is located within just 200 metres of 1901 Hermoupolis. The room was so cute and clean. It was more spacious than we thought it would be. So close to the square and it had the most incredible views from the garden. Vicky was also incredibly sweet and helpful with recommendations.

We spent most of our time sitting out on the balcony.
