I don’t normally give glowing recommendations about hotels - however the Clifton is exceptional. We were relatively demanding clients - check-in after hours with last-minute notification, last-minute accessibility requirements, take-away breakfast requested before opening hours , last-minute taxi panic…. Every request was considered professionally and a solution found with a smile. The rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a treat and included in the price of the room. I would stay here again without a second thought.

Three Horseshoes Leamside, que tiene jardín, restaurante, bar y wifi gratis, está en Houghton-le-Spring, a 14 km de Museo Beamish y a 18 km de Estadio de Luz. This is such a little gem! We stayed in Room 5. Beautifully decorated, thoroughly cleaned, a fabulous nights sleep and breakfast was exceptional (Compliments to the Chef!!). Daryl was very welcoming, as were the front house staff through to housekeeping. You will not be disappointed when you stay here!

South Shore Guest House está en South Shields, a 9 min a pie de Sandhaven Beach y a 11 km de Estadio de Luz. Absolutely EVERYTHING! We were in town for a concert May 2023, and staying at South Shore Guest House was like visiting godparents on a school holiday - warm, welcoming, cozy, and caring. The best part was our hostess Lorraine’s charming stories over the hearty homemade breakfasts that she and her husband prepared for all the guests each morning. The town of South Shields is a dreamy, friendly community by the sea, and this B&B is in the perfect spot for strolling to and fro from the diverse restaurants & stores to the excellent dog watching at the pier. Also, super convenient to find from the train station. I can’t recommend a stay there enough; 10/10.

Hoppers Cottage Guest House se encuentra en Gateshead, a 2,1 km de Centro comercial Metro Centre, y dispone de salón de uso común, habitaciones libres de humo y wifi gratis. Situated in a area close to the local bus route that allow for easy transportation, close enough to to central Newcastle the taxis/ubers are fairly priced. Very clean room, and Kim was great and provided us with extra towels along with information about the busses and provided a number for a taxi company that could be trusted. Overall 10/10 stay and would 100% stay again

Good clean accommodation, friendly owners, lovely well cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Quiet room. Had a lovely stay, we will definitely be back.

Este B&B de estilo francés está situado a las afueras de Heddon, una encantadora localidad de la muralla de Adriano, a solo 13 km del centro de Newcastle. A great location and stop on the Hadrian's Wall Path, excellent breakfast and optional dinner, I wish I had a reason to stay in the area for a few days to take advantage of the beautiful setting. I didn't expect a large sitting room with kitchen as well as a bedroom.
