The room was large, spotlessly clean (and I'm really picky!) and it was quiet. I slept very well and felt very safe. My first time alone in a guest house instead of a large hotel. Lots of street parking available during the evening and also car park just across the road. Property is at the end of a no through street so relatively quiet.

The location was great for the pottery outlet shops, and just a few minutes drive from the Emma Bridgewater factory, which was the focus of our quick visit. The manager of the pub and accommodation was exceptionally helpful and friendly, and it was a bonus to be able to stay right above the pub and enjoy a couple of drinks!
