This place is consistently great which is why we keep returning again and again. Stephanie has everything running to perfection. The location is brilliant for walking in the area. The accomodation itself has everything on the doorstep. Restaurant, pubs, breakfast cafe and the shops in the main street.

Located 23 km from MetroCentre, Duke of Wellington Inn offers 5-star accommodation in Corbridge and features a shared lounge, a bar and water sports facilities. Everything was of excellent quality- good, Accomodation, staff - 10/10

The Coach and Horses has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Hexham. Featuring a bar, the property is located within 34 km of MetroCentre. Awesome homely b&b. Firstly, not a hotel. This place is an old 3 story house, but don’t let that turn you away. The house is excellent. The breakfast is soooo tasty. Tasty fresh eggs, and great full English breakfast. Best we have had so far on our tour of England. The rooms are cozy, the king bed was the most comfortable bed we have had so far. The shower had good pressure, and was steaming hot. The towels are large, thick and fluffy. Only a 12 minute walk to the city walls, it was great to get our ‘’steps’’ in. 🙂. The owner/manager was very accomodating and friendly. We parked on-site. A bit of a squeeze, but no complaints. The room we had was a king supreme room on the top floor. It was super quiet, and we had the best sleep so far on our road trip.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Hotspur House provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. Beautiful property with equally beautiful decor. Liz was so helpful, a perfect host.

Bird In Bush Elsdon features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Elsdon. 38 km from Alnwick Castle and 48 km from St James' Park, the property provides a bar and barbecue facilities. The food was excellent, the shower was hot with pressure and the bed was comfortable.

Set in Gilsland and only 2.7 km from Thirlwall Castle, Dacre House, Gilsland offers accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. Utrolig stilig innredet gjestehus. Flott design i alle detaljer. Svært komfortable senger. Fantastisk mat både til middag og til frokost. Stor vekt på kortreist kvalitetsmat. Eksempler: De beste pølsene og Black pudding vi har smakt noensinne. Egg fra egne høner som går fritt i hagen. Fantastisk lokalt øl. Svært hyggelige eiere. Den beste overnatting vi har hatt noensinne. Godt plassert i forhold til Hadrians wall og romerske fort.

Situated in Seahouses and only 600 metres from Seahouses North Beach, Chandlers BnB features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. It was so comfortable. We had our own sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. The place was spotless. Judith was lovely. Beautiful sea views from every window. Great breakfast too.

Set in Berwick-Upon-Tweed, The Roxburgh Guest Accommodation is a recently renovated accommodation, 300 metres from Spittal Beach and 3 km from Cocklawburn Beach. A beautiful, well-kept, modern hotel. They were very accommodating when we requested an early arrival. They use refillable bottles and jars for drinks, milk, and bathroom toiletries, which is great for the environment, reducing plastic waste. A small fridge was in the room for us to use. It contained milk and drinking water.

Situated in Ridsdale, 48 km from MetroCentre, The Gun at Ridsdale features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. I booked this for my son who was attending a wedding at Le Petite Chateau - the room was clean and comfortable and the customer service was absolutely amazing - very accommodating and extremely helpful Thank You !!!

Situated in Alnwick, 200 metres from Alnwick Castle, Crux features accommodation with a bar, free WiFi, luggage storage space, and a housekeeping service. Nice fully renovated hotel in the middle of town. The Dumbledore room was adorable, well appointed with large master bathroom. Our two teens truly enjoyed the Harry Potter inspired decoration. It also had views of the castle. Public parking nor far from hotel. Overall very agreeable experience, staff professional and courteous. Highly recommended.
