The owner was a very kind lady, there was a pretty English garden, sweet little decorations, and a delicious Scottish breakfast upon request. She was very accommodating and kept up the place quite well. We were near to the distilleries we came to visit on Islay, and the dinner at the Bowman Hotel across the street from the BnB was lovely once we were able to secure reservations. I highly recommend!

I've traveled a lot in my life and I can safely say this is the best place I have ever stayed. The location is enchanting, the furnishings beautiful and cared for in every detail. The Trout Fly Guest House offers accommodation in the centre of Port Ellen, minutes from the ferry terminal and only 3 miles from our local airport. Very clean, comfortable, spacious. Kind touches such as coffee, tea, biscotti in the room. Liquid soap smelled wonderful. Fantastic location, ten minutes from the ferry, easy walking to the Three Distilleries Path. On the same street as the Islay bus route. Great breakfast.

Situated on Islay, Dha Urlar offers 4-star accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. Featuring a tour desk, this property also has outside decking. The breakfasts were excellent and generous. They were prepared to order and the view from the breakfast table was awesome.

Set in Bruichladdich, Loch Gorm House features a garden and a shared lounge. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. A charming house by the sea, conveniently positioned in the middle of the island. A short drive to both ports, basically a short drive to every destination on the island. The room was comfortable,the bathroom spacious and clean, the breakfast was magnificent. The host was wonderful and helped us with dinner bookings that are hard to get by and gave us great advise for our day trips.

It was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. The addition of the free dram of whisky was a good way to start the day.

Glenegedale House offers accommodation in Glenegedale and is situated 5 miles from Port Ellen and 6 miles from Bowmore. Each room includes a flat-screen TV. Every detail in the house has been cararefully thought and chosen, very sophisticated and cozy. Emma and Graeme wonderful hosts.

Burnside Lodge is located in Port Wemyss. Free WiFi access is available. Featuring bathrobes, private bathroom also comes with free toiletries. You can enjoy sea view from the room. Kate and Tom that run Burnside are lovely people and the room I was in was beautiful. Huge big bed which was very comfortable and very good en-suite facilities. Beautiful view outside of Rinns of Islay lighthouse with seals in the bay. Also have a communal room where you can relax and have a tea or coffee

Set in Bowmore, THE BRUCE offers accommodation with free WiFi and TV. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. I loved every single thing! The little details in the room made it absolutely gorgeous, the view was lovely. A large and very clean bathroom with local body products that smelled delicious. And left my hair so soft! Thank you for that! Great location, just a small walk to get to Bowmore Distillery, so if you plan to visit it, this is the place for you! Annmarie, the host is the perfect host, I couldn't have asked for a better service! She is a delight to talk to and is always available, just a message or phone call away. I definitely plan to visit Bowmore again in the future, and surely this is the place I will stay at! No doubt!
