The location was brilliant - so central to everything in Bath. We had dinner at The Ivy and were able to just walk there and back. Room was quite small but fine for our one night stay. Set in the centre of Bath, 700 metres from Bath Abbey, the historic Dukes Bath offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden. This lovely family-run hotel is perfectly situated for sightseeing. We were given a charming and spacious room with a country view. The check-in was warm, friendly and efficient. The breakfast was very good with an extensive selection for a boutique hotel. Carole was superb, chatting with us at breakfast and offering sightseeing suggestions. On our final day, she checked train times for us and booked a taxi to the station. Thank you, Carole!

Boasting a garden and a restaurant, Castle Inn is situated in Lydford. Guests can have a drink at the bar. All rooms in the inn are fitted with a flat-screen TV. We came during the jubilee weekend and the car rally and love music was a pleasant surprise. The staff were great and welcoming, amazing food and great location for walks
