L'Esplanade Lille is set in the historic centre of Lille in front of the Citadel of Lille and a 14-minute walk from Lille Grand Place. Seriously, this is one of the best hotels I have booked. Ambiance is perfect. The room is lovely, large, comfortable, clean, warm and with a beautiful view. 5-10mins walk to the center and nice bars or restaurants. Breakfast was peaceful, with a nice view and appretizing.

Featuring a shared lounge and views of city, galerie jacqueline storme is a recently renovated guest house located in Lille, 1.7 km from Lille Europe Train Station. The breakfast was very enjoyable, I have bacon and eggs freshly cooked as well as a range of fruit, cereal's, crossants, yoghurts etc.

Manoir Les Feuillantines Piscine & Spa in Isques provides adults-only accommodation with an indoor pool and a garden. A hot tub is available for guests, along with spa facilities. We had an outstanding stay at Manoir Les Feuillantines Piscine & Spa. This beautifully renovated old house retains its original features, adding to its charm. Every detail in this place is tastefully decorated, and it is evident that a great deal of care and attention has been devoted to creating a delightful atmosphere. The entire place is brand new, very clean, and incredibly inviting. The owner, Benjamin, is not only friendly but also an interesting person. His warm hospitality made us feel truly welcomed. Located just a 10-minute drive from the beautiful beach of Boulogne-sur-Mer and other popular tourist attractions, the location of this manor is ideal. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this area. The staff at Villa Artiz is really nice, friendly and they help you to find everything you need to make your stay more than comfortable. The location and room are amazing and you can literally walk around and see everything in Dunkirk.

Featuring an open-air bath and views of garden, Le Sommelier is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Bailleul, 27 km from St Philibert Metro Station. Truly enjoyed our stay. Peaceful location yet with easy access. Delicious breakfast and comfortable stay. Definitely recommend.

Boasting a shared lounge and views of garden, La Villa Barbieux is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Roubaix, 1.8 km from Roubaix National Graduate School of Textile Engineering. Excellent and knowledgeable kind and helpful staff with excellent tips for tourists. Room and bed were large, quiet and comfortable for a couple. Breakfast was very good with local pastries, breads, cheeses and meats. Parking was excellent and safe and secure for travellers with foreign cars. Lille and the tourist sights were convenient to reach by public transport.

Offering a terrace and inner courtyard view, au 33 chambres d'hôtes is set in Saint-Omer, 46 km from Calais Railway Station and 9.1 km from La Coupole. Location - just yards from the main square and amazing restaurants. We received such a warm welcome, and our hosts, Herve and Franck went the extra mile on so many levels - from homemade kiwi and apple marmalade with breakfast, to helping us navigate the French police system when we got our car towed! But I have to mention the art and decor too - we just felt like we were stepping back into french time with wonderful wooden floorboards and staircase, and surrounding by inspiring and actually comforting art works. We will return.

Situated in Calais, 2.3 km from Calais Beach and 600 metres from Calais Railway Station, Villa des Chats features spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Marie Louise and her husband were wonderful! It was such a beautiful French home and the cats were lovely, friendly and funny! The room was quite comfortable and I had the whole floor to myself. I went to breakfast in the morning and walked into a setting fit for a queen! It was beautiful, plentiful and delicious. I would definitely recommend this authentic French home! Marie Louise took me to the ferry and it was better by far than a taxi! Wonderful stay, I'd go back.
