Eccezionale l'accoglienza: La camera come una splendida suite, pulitissima, confortevole, luminosa con vista sul giardino e la campagna alberata. Il bagno, degno di un hotel stellato. La colazione ricca di ingredienti di ottima qualità, il pane fresco a lievitazione naturale con grano da macina in pietra. I frutti, le confetture. I loved staying in this Bed and Breakfast. Marie and Fred were such kind and helpful hosts. We felt so welcome and were given some great tips about what to do in the area. The house itself is incredible! It's a very old house with so much character. I loved the decorations, gorgeous high ceilings and hard wood floors. The bathroom was big and modern too. The breakfast was delicious with homemade yoghurt, fresh fruit and yummy pastries. They had fresh juice too as well as great latte coffee. There is a big garden behind the house to walk around in and two beautiful dogs that live there too. The owners can keep the dogs away if you want, but because I love dogs they let me have some pats in the mornings:)! We used the sauna on the first night and that was very relaxing. I wish we could have stayed longer.

What an amazing and interesting place to stay. We loved the experience of staying in a centuries-old listed building and discovering aspects of it's history and architecture. Having a great breakfast in a dining room steeped in history was memorable. Secondly, Paul and Melissa were fantastic hosts and it was wonderful to get to know them. Meeting them added to the whole wonderful experience of staying at Le Chateau. If they invite you to chat with them over tea, grab the chance!
