The rooms were comfortable and clean. There is beautiful view of Otavalo and the surroundings.

Loved our host, very sweet people and didn't mind me using Google translate to communicate better. He even took us to a few places most visitors probably don't think about. They prepared us dinner one night which was great! The house is super cute and clean, love the view to the lake. The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.

Pacheco Farmhouse - Intag Valley está en Peñaherrera y dispone de wifi gratis, terraza, restaurante y bar. Everything was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional and they were very accommodating, making delicious gluten free vegetarian food for me. Even though it's close to the road it's very quiet and peaceful. The river drowns out most noises. Lots of birds to see as well. Maria and her son took me down the hillside to the river on the first day I was there. The river is so beautiful. I stayed in one of the cute little cabins, which I would choose again if I stay there again. If you need more space they do have larger rooms in the farmhouse. I spent quite a lot of time relaxing on the front porch in the hammock watching the birds and listening to the music of the river. I live here in intag and am checking out places for friends when they come to visit. This is the first one I've actually stayed at. I highly recommend it. ❤️❤️❤️

La Hacienda San Isidro De Iltaqui está a 3 km del centro comercial Cotacachi y ofrece WiFi gratuita y desayuno. Se encuentra en una granja ecológica situada en una hacienda colonial. El desayuno excelente presentación, completo, con productos de la región y muy bien atendido. I had an excellent stay at Refugio Terra Esperanza. Emerson was so helpful in answering all my questions. Excellent services. He cooked me breakfast for $3 and helped me call a taxi to Cumbre Imbabura (which I highly recommend). The place itself is rustic, but charming and cozy. It has great views of Imbabura and Cayambe, so definitely try to wake up early for that. Overall, I would highly recommend this refugio to anyone traveling here. Emerson is a great host and I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you Emerson!
