Very cozy place, with a lot of space to sit around. The staff was very helpful with organizing transport. We could leave our backpack while going to cotopaxi. We really recommend the place.

Mooie rustige plek met goed ontbijt en heerlijke kamers en douche. Gastvrij en erg relaxte sfeer. Marcia spreekt ook nog Engels wat voor ons wel handig was.

Villa Victoria is gelegen op 38 km van Teatro Bolívar, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, een terras en een gedeelde keuken. De bed & breakfast beschikt over zowel gratis WiFi als privéparkeren. Large, new, modern, well-appointed room set in a small garden behind a house (so it's quiet). Cleaned daily if you so wish. Very comfortable bed. Wifi is strong and shower is hot (two essentials for me!). The kitchen (containing the breakfast area) at the back of the garden is free to use, as is the washing machine in the laundry room. Bonus! Tania and her husband are a treasure trove of information regarding climbing the volcanoes in the area. In fact, when I mentioned Ruminahui, they (as keen hikers themselves) offered to take me to the start of the southern route. We climbed together for a while, after which they directed me to the summit. I got lost coming back (my fault!), but they waited more than two hours for me. Later, when I offered to pay, they said, 'It is a courtesy of the guesthouse.' A truly lovely couple. My experience in Machachi couldn't have been better thanks to them. One of the best places I've stayed in Ecuador. And I loved the ancient German Shepherd that greets you at the gate!

Het Hacienda Santa Ana is gevestigd in een charmant huis dat zowel modern als antiek ingericht is. Het heeft een tuin met uitzicht over de vulkaan Pasochoa. We loved everything about our stay at Santa Ana. It is a beautiful property with so many unique features. We came with a two year old and a four month old, and though it doesn't seem like the most family friendly destination on the surface, it turned out fabulously; the animals were a huge hit, the massive front lawn allowed for hours of kicking the soccer ball around, the meals were delicious and a high chair was available. We also enjoyed two great activities organised by the staff: a farm visit where we saw the cheese making process and a hike to the nearby waterfall (both excellent for our two year old)! Speaking of the staff: they were thoughtful, helpful and very accommodating!

La Posada Del Viajero biedt accommodatie in Latacunga. Gratis WiFi en een conciërgedienst worden verstrekt. The owner is amazing. He asks the plan of each guest and explains all needed information patiently and with tips of how to make the trips cheaper. Also leaving the bag is free after staying. The bed was comfi, the shower hot, the wifi worked well. There is a cheap and tasty Chinese restaurant right next to the place. Perfect place for the night before/after the Quilotoa loop!

Hostal Adventure Climbers is gelegen in Latacunga en heeft een tuin, een terras, een bar, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Dicht bij wat winkeltjes en restaurants. Heeft een biljart. Simpel ontbijt, maar prima voor de gevraagde prijs ( 2,50 dollar ).
