This country hotel enjoys a peaceful and idyllic location amid beautiful mountain scenery. It lies just a 5-minute walk from lake Tegernsee. Enjoy a wholesome break here within a personal atmosphere. The entire staff was fabulous. Upon arrival the owner sat down with us to ask what we wanted to experience around Tegernsee. She identified all the things she thought we might enjoy and she was spot on.

There is no reception. On arrival, we found our keys set out on a table at the entry, labeled with our names. The rooms were small and basic but clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. The location is excellent. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast room was pleasant. Free off-street parking was provided behind the guest house. Real-time communication by email with the off-site management was smooth and very workable. The management was responsive and helpful. An adjustment to our reservation which required the refund of one night's lodging was handled very much to our satisfaction. House Kaiser is a great option in Rottach-Egern.

Charming and spacious apartment with a lovely view from the big balcony. The location was great.. a short stroll to the main streets of Bad Wiessee and the lake. Peaceful too. The space was perfect for two people.. large comfy bed, lots of wardrobe space, great bathroom and simple but fine kitchen (pans, Hob, kettle, fridge). I think we loved the balcony the best. Even when it rained, as the roof extended out.
