The host was very nice and polite, the apartment was great looking and clean, the self check-in was very easy and intuitive and the entire experience was great.

The breakfast buffet has a wide selection, and the bread and rolls are superb! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is quiet and nice.

Pleasant and comfortable hotel in an old building with an authentic elevator, but with new furniture and renovation, very clean, snow-white bed linen and towels, there was a bunk bed for the children, a refrigerator, kettle, tea and coffee making facilities, mineral water in the room, very pleasant the owners of the hotel and the girl who was at the breakfasts, the breakfasts were delicious, there was enough of everything, just there was no hot food for the children (for example, omelet or porridge), very tasty coffee and cocoa. We had an early check-out and lunch boxes were prepared for us. Very convenient location, near a beautiful park and many cafes, a 5-minute walk to the main street, a 25-minute walk to the zoo.

Set within 14 km of Topography of Terror and 14 km of Checkpoint Charlie, Pension Wernicke-Das-Original offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Berlin. The breakfast is not included, as it is a "pension", but one can go downstairs from 8:30 am on (or reserve a table if about 10 am) and enjoy a very nice freshly prepared breakfast.

It was lovely to go to the café in the morning to eat a delicious meal to start off your day, and there was a clear communication for where the keys where located!

Super clean, easy self check-in and out, amazing breakfast and the owner himself together with his staff take care of you. Try the house stile scrambled eggs for breakfasts. This place has nothing to lose against any large cooperation 5 star hotel. Actually after travelling around the world for over 30 years, this was one of, if not the best place I ever stayed.
