It was larger than we expected -- two rooms (and one had some parts of a ceiling mural from Medieval times). Both rooms had heaters, which were both needed and welcome. The beds were super comfy. A very cozy apartment for a really good price. The staff was friendly, spoke English (though we had enough Czech to communicate with them as well). The location was just off the central square, so fairly convenient to everything in the center.

On our cycling trip from Amsterdam to Prague we spent a night at Pension Berten. Nice large room and a wonderful breakfast. But the best part was our enthusiastic host. Unfortunately we were on a mission to get to Prague but if we visit Strašice next time well take some time to explore the surroundings.

Our host made an excellent recommendation for breakfast, and called ahead so we were expected when the restaurant open. Our room was spacious. There was a safe space in the courtyard for our bikes. All around a great experience.
