Sincerely this hotel has 4 stars level rooms ! The social area is in a middle of a mini jungle very pretty. Convenient kitchen , barbecue. The beautiful swimming pool is large enough to swim and to relax . This is a quiet place and the owners will respect your privacy. I m very picky , and I really love this place. The price (about 100US$) is the good one compare to the price of many terrible hostels of the island.

We enjoyed staying in the hostal. Maria, the host, helped us with various things, she was very friendly and attentive. The value of comfort/location/price is ideal. The price is low as compared to the hotels, it is locatied not far from the center of the city, near the beach, Ahu Tahai where you can make amazing photos of the sunset is within walking distance from the hostal. If we come back to Rapa Nui, we will book the hostal again with no doubts. Thank you very much!

Hotel Boutique La Perouse offers accommodation in Hanga Roa. Free WiFi access is available in the common areas and all rooms. La Perouse is separate in two wings, meters away from each ofther. Loved just about everything! The room, the outside patio, the tasty breakfast and especially.. Carmen and Paola being the best hosts!! I recommend staying at La Perouse with all my confidence!

This wonderful family treats their guests like family, very welcoming and loving. Gratitude is not enough. I recommend this house to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This is a lovely place to stay on Rapa Nui. You are a short stroll to the center of town, to the Ahu Tahai and the ocean. Carlos and Pamela are the most gracious hosts. They will make you feel welcome and can help arrange tours, etc. You really could not ask for better hosts. The rooms are very nice and super clean, and have a small fridge. . My bed was so comfortable. The shared kitchen is spacious and clean and well equipped. There is a living room to hang out in and a nice backyard. Hostal Makohe, in my opinion, is really a step up from the usual hostal.

Ze všech ubytovacích jednotek se otevírá výhled do zahrady.... The place was clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets and cafes are only a minute away by foot. Pathy, the hostess, was awesome. She was a big help for information about Rapa Nui. Free transport to and from the airport, which is 3 minutes away by car. You can walk to the waterfront in about 8 minutes. Tour agencies, Internet cafe, and other services are located on the same street (the main street) as the lodge. Kahina Lodge... highly recommended.
