Amazing apartment with a perfectly planned and well-designed interior. We booked a double room, the big and comfy bathroom was on the floor, also there was a sauna in the apartment! I had nice relaxing time reading in the living room with Biblioteck, eating breakfast at the dining room and looking in the fully equipped kitchen. 5 minutes walk from the city centre, 10 min to the train station.

Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire qui nous renseigne sur ce qui a à visiter dans la région. Le petit déjeuner est à base de produits régionaux, on se régale.

Entouré par les montagnes Hoher Kasten à Säntis, le Gasthaus Bären Schlatt propose des chambres avec vue sur les montagnes et le village d'Appenzell. the view from the hotel was exceptional, the owners were incredible, very friendly and always with a smile. they even drove us back to the city the next day. make sure to have dinner there, as it was amazing. the room was very clean and spacious

L’Adler Hotel occupe un magnifique bâtiment traditionnel de style appenzellois près du centre piétonnier du village d’Appenzell. Very authentic house with some rooms originally decorated. Extremely friendly and helpful host. We felt welcomed dearly, on a personal level!

Entouré par une nature restée intacte, le Waldgasthaus Lehmen est situé à 4 km de Weissbad dans le canton d'Appenzell. Il propose des chambres de style alpin et une agréable terrasse de restaurant. We stayed 2 nights beginning of June. If you like traditional places, you should visit Waldgasthaus Lehmen. You would be surrounded by natural forest with a view on Appenzell Alps. One of the most common sound during the day is various bells on cow necks. We were lucky to see how Appenzell farmers bring their cows to the mountains. The farmers have very beautiful cloths! On Saturday we saw a group of farmers, who came in their traditional dresses to Lehmen restaurant and had a few hours of singing and enjoying food. The restaurant is very good, if you like Swiss food. You must be hiking in that region, otherwise food might be too heavy. I had pork steak, pork schnitzel and beef steak with noodles and mushrooms. All dishes were very tasty. You have to try local beer! And Lehmen whisky! Highly recommended! Very nice! Service is impeccable, fast and attentive. All personnel is very friendly. Breakfast is wonderful! I would prefer, if it started at 7 instead of 8… Our room 17 was great, soft pillows, comfy beds, bath, simple but cozy design. The hotel has a playground for kids. Parking is huge.

Situé au pied du massif Säntismassiv et de la montagne de Kronberg, le Landgasthof Eischen, rénové en 2012, dispose d'un restaurant traditionnel d'Appenzell avec une terrasse et d'un espace spa. The view was amazing, room was so comfortable and the entire property was beautiful! The staff was so kind and welcoming too!
