The team were really friendly and welcoming at all times, breakfast was generous and diverse in terms of items. They even prepared a little take away box for us for a day trip. The swimming pool is great and has a little Jacuzzi, which is a stunning way to end the day. Their restaurant is really good and so are the caipirinhas. Overall a great pick!

We had a great stay at Vista do Lago Jungle Lodge! From the start, the friendly staff made our visit fun and comfortable. We really appreciated the coordinated transport from Manaus and, later, back to the airport. The hospitality was great, and the food was delicious. The excursions were awesome. We tried a bunch of them, and each one was a new adventure. Kennedy, our English-speaking guide, was full of fun stories and a wealth of information about the plants, animals, and local culture. We learned so much from him, and he made sure we had a great time. It was a great way to explore and get to know the Amazon!

El Refúgio Samauma cuenta con restaurante, bar, jardín y zona de playa privada en Manaus. También cuenta con mostrador de información turística y parrilla. The staff is friendly, the food is fantastic, and the location is just at the heart of the rainforest, which was exactly what I was looking for. Good for relaxation, there is no internet or signal at the cottage, which allows for social media detox. However, broadband is available near the main building/restaurant if you can't live without internet. I was able to do a couple of web/video calls to my office early in the morning before going deep into the forest.
