They work so hard and do everything. We are so glad we stayed here because of them. Shout-out to Lu for letting me burn the ear off her 😂 But can't forget the others, Ayelen, Tomas & Romina, such a great crew! The room was also lovely, it had everything we could've needed - comfortable and warm, TV with Netflix, great bathroom with a hot shower and overall exceptionally clean. The breakfast was really tasty and filling, greatest part were the scrambled eggs 😋. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again.

One night we had an ad-hoc, family-style BBQ during which Leo assisted us with the purchase and proper grilling techniques for the local Argentine meat. The hostel is a roughly 40-minute walk from the trailheads for a couple highly recommended day hikes as well. While the location is outside of the tourist center, you can catch the colectivos for free into town or take an Uber for around 2.000 pesos. Overall, it was a warm and familial environment with guests from many countries alongside Argentineans where you can comfortably cook yourself a nice meal and share a drink with other guests. The hotel entrance and common areas are super nice, the room was big and comfortable, the bed was huge and the room had good ventilation, the location is as central as it gets, the staff was super welcoming, friendly and helpful. Honestly, if I return to San Matin, I'll probably stay here.

Very charming accommodation, not in the centre, but close to Madryn Buceo if you want to take snorkelling with sea lions. Close supermarket and bakery. Lovely dog and the owners, ready to help if you need them, if not - they are always somewhere near. We loved the time we spent there. No problem with wifi and parking. You pay in pesos with official rate.
