We loved our stay at the lodge! It was the perfect base for our Kruger safari. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable, we enjoyed hot showers with great water pressure. The fact the lodge was unaffected by load-shedding also meant that my partner could work remotely. The location of the lodge is very special as there is a neighbouring nature reserve, so every day you have new visitors - we got to feed zebras, and saw kudu / impala / warthogs / monkeys and other animals coming in and out of the lodge each day - the safari experience continues even when you’re not on drives! There is also a resident bush baby and janette! The game drives were also amazing - our guide Dirk Grove has three decades of experience and did an incredible job to get us in the right spots at right time to see the big 5 and rhinos too! We ended up doing 3 days of game drives as he was just so impressive knowledgeable - every day was different and special. The hospitality at the lodge is unrivalled. The team prepared our breakfast each day ahead of the drives and provided ponchos and blankets for us to ensure the most comfortable start to the day. We ate at the restaurant every evening (6 nights!) as the food was exceptional. The in house chef Ernesto made the most amazing 3 course meals every day at a reasonable price of R380 per day. Marcel, Lizette, Trudy and Terry were also so kind to us and just wonderful people who are clearly very passionate about what they do. We had a 10/10 safari experience for a very reasonable price. I cannot recommend this place enough. Rene and his wife are such welcoming people, but it’s the little touches that really stand out, like bringing you a cold beer after a long day in the Kruger, and fetching you a corkscrew when you’ve lost your’s! The rooms are so in character with them and their surroundings. Super comfortable bed and a great shower Please do let Carol cook for you, her food is excellent and she always has a smile on her face. I didn’t have time for a swim, but there’s a lovely pool too. I shall definitely be back

Beautiful landscaping, extremely comfortable lodge. Nicolette and Matthew have put thought and love into so many small details that make their place charming, romantic, and perfect. The breakfast and dinners were all well presented, abundant and delicious. Nicolette also introduced us to a fantastic game drive guide, Christelle. We would not hesitate to send any of our friends and family here! We researched so many place in and around Marloth Park. If you’re looking at this property, book it! You won’t regret it.

Vida Nova Kruger at Marloth Park is an excellent place to stay outside, but near a Kruger gate.It is located at an extraordinary viewpoint to the Crocodile River, and, vis à vis of the river banks of Kruger NP with grazing Giraffes and sometimes Elephants, daily hearing the hippo’s shouts and meeting Impala, Kudu, Gnu and Zebra in the parks and gardens. The staff was very welcoming and looked after me very well. The ecologically designed and managed Lodge was very clean and had good facilities. African decor was very fitting in a lush green landscape. Breakfast was varied and good, dinner was plentiful and prepared with healthy and spicy ingredients. Bertus, who is a well educated, friendly and pleasant host, provided me with much information on animals living at Kruger and Marloth Park region, and I learned to distinguish roars of lion’s and leopards. I would definitely stay here again to meet Kruger’s animal world!

The warm welcome by the owner set the tone. The friendly and super efficient staff kept us feeling welcome. The place is fully equipped and super clean. The beds are comfortable and ensure a good night's rest. The abundant wildlife (comprising wildebeest, giraffe, kudu, bushbuck, duiker, zerbra, bush baby, warthogs and many birds to mention a few) kept us entertained and came as close as three meters from where we sat. Even your car is kept safe under a carport.

Everything was perfect, Louise and Neil are super hosts, they made us feel at home since the moment we arrived, offering us what we needed. The structure is amazing, clean, comfortable.. the breakfast was really delicious. This is one of the best places where we have been hosted.
