The location is ideal. Gordon's Bay is a nice little town, not far from Cape Town or the airport. The setting is spectacular, with mountains and sea, and the beach is protected from major waves. There are a number of excellent restaurants within walking distance. The town is safe and the property secure. There is a beautiful drive along the coast towards Betty's Bay, which I highly recommend. There is a colony of African penguins there. Big Skies has a small pool, which we used in the heat of the afternoon. The breakfasts were very good, and there was a decent amount of variety. I enjoy the personal attention of guesthouses and small hotels, and Kobus and Irene were excellent hosts. Conversation at breakfast and the bar with them and other guests was enjoyable. Parking is inside the property gates and is secure.

Both Cindy and Harry WELCOMED us with a glass of juice and a healthy bar, they made us feel so at home, they even left champagne and chocolates for us . The cleanliness and room was excellent. The breakfast was amazing. We adored the view, that was spectacular, I will definitely recommend anybody to stay there. Cindy even gave us a departing gift and insisted that we notify her when we safe at home. WHAT AN AMAZING COUPLE !!!

Such an idyllic, peaceful apartment with an incredible view. We were the only guest there and it was very beautiful having the pool to ourselves and watching sundown! The wifi was also very consistent and we weren't affected at all by the load sharing.
