The Swift House Inn is comprised of three buildings: the Main House, the Gate House, and the Carriage House. The Main House is where the dining room, bar, and front desk are located. The Gate House features the most economical rooms and is located half a block from the Main house on the corner of Stewart Lane and Route 7. The Carriage House features the superior rooms and the only rooms that allow dogs.

Beautifully decorated rooms and common spaces, fabulous restaurant (one of best Inn breakfasts ever) and lovely staff, plus so many thoughtful small touches such as fresh cookies, herbal tea and fruit available on landing. Short walk to downtown Middlebury. Loved the fabulous artwork and beautiful setting. Very comfortable bed. Very nice bar area and sauna.
