Situated in a renovated historic building overlooking the Neiva River, Casas do Rio is placed at the crossroads of ancient paths, the Royal Road and the Way to Santiago de Compostela.

I stayed here one night while walking the Camino and it would be a great place to return to. The room was beautiful, as was the entire property. Enjoyed swimming and laying by the pool. Dinner was quite nice and it was lovely to eat out on the patio with other guests and enjoy good conversation. Breakfast was good as well. The owners seem like really wonderful people.

Offering a garden and barbecue, Casas da Quinta da Cancela is located in Balugães, part of the Portuguese Way of the Camino de Santiago. Braga is 20 km away.

The quinta is a beautiful complex of several buildings surrounded by greenery. All very well kept and peaceful.

Older but well maintained and managed hotel on the Camino. We met other pilgrims staying there also. No dinner is provided but there are restaurants nearby (you may need or want to take a taxi). Breakfast is available for a separate cost.

The accommodations were very peaceful and set in a beautiful location. The proprietors were very kind and thoughtful making our stay excellent!

Set in Ponte de Lima, Casa Límia has a shared lounge, garden, terrace, and free WiFi. The guest house features family rooms. The property is within a 10-minute walk from the historic centre.

Firstly, Fernanda's friend met us as the house and she had lots of information and was really helpful. The house itself was perfect for our needs. We didn't even walk into town, because we were so happy just hanging out at the house. There was a large terrace and an excellent kitchen, so we cooked a meal and relaxed for the day, which was very welcome after walking part of the Caminho Português. We loved it at Casa Limia, and highly recommend a stay here. 10/10!
