Our host left some fresh baked breads for us in the morning which we found to be very convenient. The kitchen was dated, but complete with everything you might need. The bathrooms were modern in comparison to the rest of the house. We felt as if transported into the days of Downton Abby with all the antique furniture, and the space was enormous. The bedrooms were all large with four poster beds. Altogether a nice experience.

The stay at Casa Jerónimo B&B was amazing, beyond words. The hospitality and generosity of Diogo and his mother made us fall in love with Portugal and its people. They made our stay beyond pleasurable. The facilities were amazing; they even have a pool, which is perfect for the hot weather in the Douro valley. They even welcome you with their homemade port :) Their breakfast was the best that we have ever had in any B&B during our travels. Diogo sourced local and organic ingredients in the region- Beautiful jams, fresh cheeses, meats, pastries and sandwiches. His mom even made us a delicious apple tart. I am drooling thinking about their breakfast. We would definitely 200% recommend it.

Our stay at Casa do Romezal was a highlight of our trip to Portugal that Jane and I will always treasure. Breakfast was sensational. We loved Margarida's homemade pastries and breads, freshly squeezed juice, and the local cheeses and hams at our breakfast. Simply sensational. Don't miss the vineyard tour and wine tasting with Luis! Margarida and Luis made everything about our stay absolutely perfect. We will be placing an order for wine very soon. We look forward to seeing you if you are ever in the United States.

The interior and exterior design of the hotel is beautiful. The views all over are spectacular. The quinta is really impressive. We stayed 4 nights there because we wanted to enjoy everything that the property has to offer. The wine tasting and the presentation of the process of wine production was also very interesting.

This is a remote location which after 5 weeks of heavy travel was much appreciated, beautiful views. The earlier reviews noted it was smart to bring my own food which I did. It was a wonderful retreat for a few days! This place is clean it is comfortable and the host is the absolute best. Daniel made sure I found his spot by guiding me there himself due to a road closure, the next day when I got turned around he helped me again. He is gracious very accomodati g and makes awesome PORT!

This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.
