Everything was first rate. The food was fresh from the garden and orchard or freshly homemade. Excellent European coffee all day. Room was spacious with a good firm memory foam mattress a heating unit a spacious shower filtered water. Grounds had fruit trees and vegetable garden. Hosts were very knowledgeable of the area and helpful about where to go and how to get there. They will become lifelong friends.

Fantastic destination for a relaxing get-away. Quiet setting with cork trees and a panoramic view of the valley and the sea on the horizon. Clean modern facilities with a friendly staff.

Very nice facility. Rooms are very comfortable and high quality. The location has an unparalleled view all the way to the ocean and everything works really nicely. There are plenty of spaces to read, meditate and chat. There is a natural swimming pool that looks very appealing but we stayed in March so we couldn’t use it.

The BnB has been the best accommodation we have ever been so far. Gerrit was the most welcoming and good hearted person. His BnB offers everything one needs to have a wonderful and unforgettable time in Portugal. Everything was very clean and hygienic. The room was made everyday and Gerrit made sure that we had a relaxing time in his place. Everything was designed with detail - the room was very spacious and decorated charmingly. You will definitely sleep very well in the bed! In the morning, you will wake up to a breathtaking view and to an even more delicious breakfast. The breakfast offered a daily special - our favourites were the yoghurt with fruit and the pancakes! Gerrit makes sure that your tummy is filled with good food before you start exploring Portugal. The pool and the outdoor kitchen were great! Cooking and swimming with an amazing view - what could you possibly want more? The other guests we also really friendly and kind - we spent several nights together (eating dinner together or just finishing the day off with a cold beer or wine). And not to forget: thanks to Gerrit, I found out that I actually love Sangria!;) Again Gerrit, thank you so so much for everything! We really appreciate your hospitality and welcoming BnB. Had a great stay in Albergaria do Lageado. Very peaceful and convenient place. Lovely garden and large swimming pool (almost always just for the 3 of us). The staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant served delicious food at an affordable price. Highly recommended place if you're looking for some reset and recharge.

Fantastic location right in the center of town, a few steps to restaurants and shops but on a pedestrian street and very quiet. Super clean, cute room, with nice facilities. Friendly staff, in the house, and on the phone when we arrived. Great value for money.
