This was the best place we have stayed in on our 2.5 weeks trip through Portugal. The room was very clean, comfortable and the furniture was very nice. The outdoor kitchen attached to the room was very practical and equipped with all basic stuff you need for cooking. I liked the location a lot because we were away from the busy town Carvoeiro and it was very peaceful. Still, good restaurants are located in a convenient distance away. The water in the pool was pleasantly warm so that we were able to swim even in the evening when it got cold outside. They offered a wide selection on the breakfast buffet. The breakfast was very good. The whole property is designed in a very nice way and I was able to discover a new cute or "smart" detail of the facilities every single day. Last but not least, the hosts Elke and Co. were very nice, welcoming and attentive. I have learned from them something new about life in Portugal every morning.

The compound and the facilities are great for families. A restaurant by the pool makes it perfect for days when you just want to stay in.

The Casa Carioca is close to the town centre and the beach. The breakfasts were very tasty, with daily fresh rolls. Tom and Evelien were very helpful with local sightseeing advices.

Dear Markus and Chris The moment we stepped into your beautiful home, we knew we wanted to visit again. You have tastefully furnished the place and made it feel very cozy too. We loved the little touches like the wine bottle you left for us. But most of all, it was your kindness and hospitality. You made sure we were comfortable and taken care of throughout our stay, and the breakfast was out of this world - what a great start to our day, and it kept us going on our hikes. (The French toast was the best we’ve ever eaten, not to mention the pancakes and cakes which were absolutely delicious) We cannot thank you enough, and we will definitely be back. There is a lot to see and do, but your place is the best BnB we have been too. Thank you for making this one of the best trips we have had in a long time!
