The owner Maria and Hoy were so so nice . Very helpful, welcoming and kind and made our group of ten feel very welcome. Bedrooms were excellent. Good size, comfortable beds and en suite. Recommend the breakfast for €7.50 per couple. Fabulous choice of food and drinks and home made pineapple cake. 😋

Custodias house is a beautiful place to stay with a lovely walled yard. The approx. 85 sqm apartment with 2 bedrooms is renovated to latest and modern standards with a modern bathroom, air condition and a well equipped kitchen. The house is located in Casa Nova, which is a typical smaller, rural Northern Portuguese village. The village is to be found next to Ponte de Lima (3 kms along the river Lima), Viana do Castelo (15 kms) and the natural Atlantic beaches (25 kms). Furthermore, the house is well located as a basis for exploring Northern Portugal and is in a convenient distance to Braga and Barcelos (approx 35-40 kms drive through beautiful wine yards), the wide sandy beaches of Esposende, Porto (90 km) and the Douro valley. Behind closed gates one finds with Custodias house a little paradise. Visitors have the entire second level with a separate entrance and terrace to themselves. It is the most clean and well taken care of apartment I ever booked. Custodia and her family are highly welcoming, warm and friendly people who take great care of their guests well being. In addition the family is highly pet friendly. It was a wonderful stay I can only recommend. We will definitely consider to choose Custodia as our host again being the next time in Northern Portugal. A great thanks again for the wonderful hospitality to Custodia and her family!

Comfortable beds with a big bathroom. Few snacks and drinks available to purchase at the property. The place has a pool (unfortunately we didn't get the weather to use it but it was still a nice touch). The host was friendly.

The host was really nice and helpful, there was a possibility to have a pilgrim dinner, which was amazing after day of walking the camino. The whole accomodation is beautiful, in the middle of nature.
