The staff were very nice and the view over The Valley is just amazing. We took advantage of eating our dinner at Quinta Veiga, great value for money! Highly recommended, if you want a few days to relax away from crowds.

Where can I even begin? This place was a bit of Portugese heaven. Totally secluded, with your own private pool, nestled amongst the vineyards. This was by far our favourite place to stay. Ana, the host, went over and above to make sure our stay was comfortable, and hosted a private wine tasting with an accompanying cheese and meat board.

We wanted quite and romantic place, out of the city place but close enough to drive by car. This place is located 20-25 minutes from the Sabrosa/Pinhao. The stay was amazing! The room was spacious enough and we had a big window facing the valley. The sunset and the morning views are incredible there. And because of the isolated location it so quite there. Except the room there is also a place outside in the property to sit and enjoy the wine and the views. The host gave us a taste of their own wine and port and we also asked for the breakfast (additional price). Wow, you definitely must have it! Aurora made us a wonderful breakfast. Everything on the table came from their own garden. And the view from the balcony (where we ate) is amazing.

This is my second time staying at Quinta do Tedo... it's wonderful in every sense. You can't go wrong staying here! Wine tasting and a tour is included in your stay. It's got a lovely view from the pool, kayaks, bikes, and a tasty restaurant on site. The breakfast is delicious and it has nice views over the river! It's a small place you're going to love to tell your friends and family about back home. With only a handful of rooms, you feel super special staying here as well.

If you are considering Casa do Arco for your stay in the Douro valley, don't hesitate a second more! Everything was absolutely perfect, the location with an amazing view, the lovely house itself and the outstanding service provided by the team! The value for money is excellent and I have for sure felt privileged to spend some time in such an exceptional environment!

We had a spacious room with a fantastic view of the valley. Jet and Ronald were very friendly and gave us great advice and suggestions on places to visit. We took a walk through the vineyards down to Pinhão. The scenery was magical. Highly recommended.

Lugnt och så trevligt att sitta under det väldoftande apelsinträdet på den lilla gården. Fantastiskt vacker omgivning! Perfekt också att man kunde nyttja den lilla köksdelen med kylskåp, micro etc och därmed göra sin egen frukost.

Great location but very difficult to get a taxi to take us. In the end Ricardo arranged taxi for us. Lovely man. Some taxi drivers tried to charge us €50 to go 1km up the hill
