The staff were very nice and the view over The Valley is just amazing. We took advantage of eating our dinner at Quinta Veiga, great value for money! Highly recommended, if you want a few days to relax away from crowds.

The location and views are breath taking. It is even better as in the pictures. Total privacy and a private pool and terrace on top of a hill in the middle of the vineyards of Quinta do Espinho. We went out for lunch every day in one of the neighboring wineries ( there are some really nice ones close by with very fancy restaurants ) and stayed home for dinner. Anna, the lovely host, prepares on request fresh and good meals that she would serve at the terrace of the cottage. And last but not least, the heartfelt and genuine service from Anna really topped it off. We hope to come back one day. Many thanks to the team, this was the highlight of our holidays do far.

I loved the location. There are hiking trails where you can do bird watching and go thru the wine yards. There are facilities for kayaking too, everything included (paddles, kayaks, and lifesavers). The stay includes a tour of the process and degustation of wine.

Check-in semplicissimo e alloggio spazioso, luminoso e pulito. Il parcheggio gratuito in struttura è stato di fondamentale importanza. Colazione ricca e piscina con vista fantastica per rilassarsi.

If you are considering Casa do Arco for your stay in the Douro valley, don't hesitate a second more! Everything was absolutely perfect, the location with an amazing view, the lovely house itself and the outstanding service provided by the team! The value for money is excellent and I have for sure felt privileged to spend some time in such an exceptional environment!

Great beds. It was 170cm wide and we both slept even better than at home. The shower was also good: high water pressure and a rain showerhead The room was also big enough for both of us to lay open or large suitcases Also the breakfast and general service were good.

Great location but very difficult to get a taxi to take us. In the end Ricardo arranged taxi for us. Lovely man. Some taxi drivers tried to charge us €50 to go 1km up the hill
