The room was very spacious with separate sitting and sleeping area. It had pots, dishes, cutlery, microwave, and a fridge. It was stylishly furnished. Yes, there's not much of a view, but it is 2 min away from the beach, walking distance to Algar seco, from where you can start the seven hanging valleys hike. It is also close to the bus stops. For those coming via bus, take the110 from Lagoa and get off at Monte Carvoeiro stop for check in. It will save you from walking uphill with luggage just to check in. The lady at the reception was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed 4 nights and felt comfortable there.

Amazing hosts who looked after us in every possible way. Our welcome and farewell felt very personal. All of the facilities were outstanding. The location was perfect for us to explore the whole area. This was the first time that they had done vegan and vegetarian breakfasts and they were delicious!
