The location is all enclosed, safe, quiet, very peaceful, and beautiful. The room is also modern, and beautifully decorated in a garden setting shared with two other units, each with a small private deck. We had a nice check-in experience. The rooms were absolutely fantastic, overlooking the river and looking towards Barcelos. With the windows closed, it was relatively quiet. After walking all day, this place was a wonderful spot to rest for the night. The breakfast was simple but adequate and tasted good. It was a buffet style. The person at reception arranged for one of our bags to be brought to our next stop, which worked out really well. Supportive staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, beautiful location - all in all, a wonderful stay. If doing the Caminho, I recommend stopping here and treating yourself to a bit of comfort. There's a Peregrino restaurant across the road also, for those cheap Caminho walker dinners!
