Set beside the Whanganui River, The Signal Box provides river views and peaceful surroundings. The room features a kitchenette, seating area, dining area, and a private bathroom.

The novelty of it being an ex signal box, but also exceptionally clean and bright. Bathroom was great, loved the floor tiles. The bed was very comfortable, with lovely surroundings and gracious hosts.

Orange Tree Cottage - garden hideaway is set in Whanganui and offers a garden and a terrace.

Our stay was great. Julie was awesome and made us feel right at home. Our little cottage was super clean, and breakfast items were right in our room ready for the next morning. Highly recommend this cottage.

Pin Oaks is located in Whanganui. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. The guest house comes with a flat-screen TV.

The place is around 15min drive from the town but it’s beautiful and peaceful. Accommodation was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Tranquil and quite, ideal for nature lovers. I wish that I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

Boasting mountain views, Shurinji features accommodation with a spa and wellness centre and a patio, around 44 km from RNZAF Base Ohakea.

The breakfasts were very nice each morning and it was a real treat for me, as i didn't have to cook it. Andrew and Penny are lovely people, very knowledgeable on a lot of varied topics, great to listen to about all sorts of things. They went above and beyond expectations.

Gumnut House is a beautifully restored historic home with all modern conveniences. Guest have a private queen bedroom, private bathroom and private lounge / dining room.

We loved everything about our stay here. The accommodations are outstanding and our host Maryann is the best. Friendly and so sweet. The breakfast was fabulous. The home is cozy and comfortable. The architecture of this old house is stunning.
