Peter and Anna have created a wonderful garden here while restoring the natural habitat in their valley where birds thrive. We saw seals and many estuary birds 5 minutes’ drive away and Albatrosses another few miles beyond that.

Beautiful views, very quiet, close to Allan beach which has seals and penguins. Great view of the stars at night because of how dark it was around there. Clean and private. Ample dishes and kitchen stuff was provided.

This was such an amazing stay. I had a car so I parked on the street below and then walked up the amazing street (that I was very proud of doing) and then arrived at this lovely and clean home! The living room doubles as the entry way, and free coffee and tea is available as well as comfy couches and a warm atmosphere. The best thing was my incredible room! The bed was soft and luxurious and they had turned on the electric blanket for my arrival! It was such a lovely attention to detail and I was so greatful as I had had a long day. The bathroom was also ultra modern and with great water pressure. This was my favourite stay in Dunedin and I wish I had stayed longer!

Nice touch that there was a separate lounge with fridge (tea/coffee making facilities as well as snacks, soft drinks & beer) available as well as your bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast excellent, best we have had on our travels around New Zealand. Would highly recommend a stay with Anna.
