Quiet, convenient place to stay in Invercargill. Nice to be able to walk to the CBD, good parking across the road, and comfortable bed and great bathroom. Highly recommended.

Very cozy and lovely environment. Charming hosts who are willing to chat and share interesting things. Good breakfast. John showed us around the deer farm and introduce their lifestyle. It's an unforgettable experience staying in a deer farm with lovely hosts.

I had a last minute booking. Still Claire welcomed me warmly and when telling her, that I was not sure, if I find a place to stay for another night, she just comforted me and told me she will make a space, if I don't find anything. The bed was heaven and breakfast really good

The Villa Rouge is in a beautiful old house in a quiet neiborhood in Invercargill. Our room was very comfortable. The house is extensively decorated with beautiful artwork. The hosts are delightful. We would stay there again and recommend it to others. We used this as a staging stop for taking the ferry to Stewart Isalnd. Invergargill is a relatively large city with many services. We stumbled on an excellent breakfast in the motercycle museum downtown.

Our stay at Milton Park Estate was exceptional. The property is gorgeous- lovely flowers, trees, fantail birds. It’s like staying in a botanical garden. The guest house is private and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. The jacuzzi tub was a delight. This was one of our best stays on our three week trip.

The hostess was very helpful, even though I booked the wrong day for our return stay. She also was able to book our ferry travel and an excursion on Stewart Island. The property is older but very clean and quiet. Free parking. Location is central to what we wanted
