Absolutely everything. The room was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. We had all we needed for breakfast; fresh bread, jams, fresh fruits from their garden, etc. Colleen and Leo are warm, fabulous hosts! They gave us a tour in their garden and were very friendly. Awesome choice for couples who want a quiet and peaceful rest.

Wonderful location, walking to town, and parking right at the property. Sue and John are wonderful folks who made us feel welcomed and shared a lot about a variety of issues. The breakfast was outstanding...we also went out for Indian food for one night and that was perfect! Would recommend this accommodation highly...great people.

Hospitality was warm and welcoming, friendly and generous. Amazing views to the mountains. Comfortable room and lounge to enjoy. Delicious breakfast with lovely choices. Excellent facilities, Rhys and Anna are very friendly and helpfull in providing travel information. Breakfast was extensive, you can select from a variety dishes which are prepared freshly. Kotare is located in a beautyfull landscape and can also serve as a base camp for a longer stay.

I loved the atmosphere of the place, it felt like home. I arrived late and tired from my long travel and right away I was offered tea and possibility for hot bath. In the morning, I was served a lovely breakfast. I wish I could have stayed for another night, but I had to continue my journey.

We stayed one night from 20 to 21 March in this gracious heritage property. We enjoyed the traditional furnishings and comfort. It was great to have a separate living area with a couch and dining table. The bedroom was beautiful with a comfortable bed, with feather pillows. The morning sun streamed in across the lovely gardens, too. All in all, a delightful stay.
