Ganesh and his family are excellent hosts. They go far and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The house is located inside old Bhaktapur close to one of four main squares but in a quiet neighborhood. We had a great cooking class. The facilities are very comfortable. Great value for the money.

This is our third time back and the staff have done many renovations and continue to improve the Guesthouse. It has a very nice rooftop for sunset and meeting other guests. Staying at Peacock Guesthouse was an experience on its own! It is a piece of a medieval fairytale brought into the modern world. Not only you feel the history everywhere, but also the artistry of Bhaktapur craftsmen: the wood-carved windows overlooking the oldest square of the town and the temple, the wooden artifacts in the cute courtyard, the craftsman himself working next to the restaurant…. We marveled every minute of our stay there, we tasted a good amount of their great food and we spent literally hours observing this lively town from our windows… If you are in Bhaktapur and you like living in history and art, look no further.

What an incredibly nice stay I had! It is really a shared home and I felt like home. One of my best stays in Nepal! Shekar the owner is kind, friendly and funny. He showed me the city and the beautiful local places, it was such a nice experience! The rooftop is pretty and the common room was nice to hang out with Shekhar and the other traveler. It was quite at night and during the day because of the location but you are in the middle of the city centre!

At Milla Guest House we felt at home. The location is beautiful and very convenient. The room is clean and in the winter time there is a gas stove to heat it. The owners of the house were wonderful, pampering us with tea, treats and a delicious dinner. We would 100% recommend staying here.
