We did not have breakfast. We were fully self catering. It was lovely and warm in the house- good heating. We were attending a dog show with our dogs so it was perfect for that. It was not luxurious but very comfortable. The landlady told us about a local event so we were able to see the traditional arrival by boat of St Nicholas in the nearby village.

Everything has been thought of and there are little drinks and treats available. The room is large and has a nice atmosphere. The hostess is also very helpfull and friendly. I came only for one night but hope to be back for longer.

Absolutely lovely place which I highly recommend if you are looking for place to chill or a good starting point for different day trips in Friesland. Jantina and Henk are wonderful & friendly hosts. The room space was comfortable and spacious (bedroom and living room area with wide shower).
