Fabulous place, well thought out design of the site. Classy and comfortable apartment with great views and modern amenities. Goats, miniature ponies, cat, roosters, trampoline all on the doorstep. Felt enough privacy with easy parking. We took advantage of the bicycles, highly recommend a round trip to the marina for the perfect ride! Tips - From previous reviews regarding flies/mosquitos just be sure to close windows (including the vents) by dusk and you'll be fine. Some bank cards from the UK do not work so be sure to have cash just in case. The facilitates are great (kitchenware) but be sure to add condiments and basics to your grocery list for example; coffee, butter, salt and pepper if that's what you need/want if you will be cooking.

Very cute location, the place was easy to find, everything was easy to use and we were offered to use the bikes they had in the garage. Communication with the host was easy and relaxed, Theo and Miranda were very kind and accommodating.

Very charming B&B with nice hosts. We loved the building which used to be a schoolhouse. Rooms are all unique and decorated with taste. Breakfast is womderful and location right at the entrance to Workum. Very relaxing garden

Wonderful and tranquil location just a couple kilometers from Workum and Hindeloopen. Shared bathroom and showers, huge new shower and bathroom facility just 50 meters from the main house. Option to enjoy the bar and have pizza with wine and beer too. The rooms were spacious.

We were met on arrival by our host who explained the facilities available, ie use of kitchen, tea & coffee, pool & outside seating. She kindly provided water & drinks for our first night. Our room in the eaves was large, clean & bright with characterful central beams. Lovely views from the sloping windows. A substantial buffet breakfast with an excellent choice of fresh fruit as well as cooked meats, cheeses & boiled eggs. Great location just 1.5km from the town of Makkum where there are several shops & restaurants. Also a little further to the marina & beach. Secure parking.

A very warm welcome by a friendly and hospitable and accomodating host, nice terrace to enjoy, great coffee, fabulous breakfast (bread, croissant, cheese, bacon, egg brioche, yoghurt, fresh juice and fresh fruit, coffee or tea), freshly prepared as well. Nice room and rain shower.
