The host was very helpful and is an expert on Frisian culture and history, happy to explain the special traditions Frisians have within the Netherlands. The location is not central, but the city centre is easily reached by public transport.

we had an excellent experience in Villa Kakelbont! Lovely decorated room, very friendly and helpful owner. He organized a parking allowance in the street for us. It's a beautiful street, with cute houses and a peaceful, typical Dutch atmosphere. You can easily walk to the city centre. Our room had a big terrace plus a cute loggia. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night and couldn't taste the breakfast due to an early appointment. But we will certainly book it next time. We highly recommend this place!
