Arriving at De Olde Signorie is seeing that you're in the heart of Leeuwarden. Access by car is easy, and the secluded private parking is great. Once you enter the building, you'll see that recently renovated rooms kept their historic roots and are beautifully decorated and equipped with nice facilities: large screen tv, bluetooth speaker, but also a soft blanket near the couch that can warm 2 people. The bed is fantastic with great pillows: a guarantee for a good sleep. Breakfast is served in a location near De Olde Signorie, and we can recommend it: it's a special place with great breakfast buffet.

Great location, quick access to the city center, good amenities, ideal spot a week long stay. Had good communication with the host, made sure I had a comfortable stay and provided nice snacks for the breakfast. P.S. If you are a student visiting NHL Stenden, this is a perfect place

we had an excellent experience in Villa Kakelbont! Lovely decorated room, very friendly and helpful owner. He organized a parking allowance in the street for us. It's a beautiful street, with cute houses and a peaceful, typical Dutch atmosphere. You can easily walk to the city centre. Our room had a big terrace plus a cute loggia. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night and couldn't taste the breakfast due to an early appointment. But we will certainly book it next time. We highly recommend this place!

Situated in the beautiful tranquil Martenastate heritage site, this B&B exceeded all my expectations. The little village of Cornjum is an absolute must to visit for anyone who wants to experience old-world charm. The surrounding gardens, woods, even the little Nicolaaskerk and churchyard, are so peaceful.
