Very clean, well set-up room with all the amenities, including a fridge and kettle, as well as a cute balcony (the only room with a balcony, I think). Excellent breakfast (with lots of variety) on the spacious terrace. It's kind of on the edge of the center, but it's a pleasant walk through a park to get into town. We've stayed in several Booking.com places in Central Asia, and this is the only one that matched the description and actually had everything that was described on the website!

Don't hesitate to go to the lovely Almaty and stay at Hotel 33, it worth it 👍 The staff are so friendly, helpful, with a great nice attitude, really thanks for the great hospitality. The hotel is with very good money value. 20 to 23 min walking to Mega Park mall and the center, or 5-6 mins by taxi with cost from 550 to 800 tenge ( 1.5 to 2 $ ). At the beginning you may think that the location is kinda not ok as it's between homes but ABSOLUTELY the location is so accessible, very safe ,people are nice and helpful, ask for room in 2nd or 3rd floor ( right side rooms ) to get a nice beautiful morning mountain view from your window. The room is tidy, clean, with good facilities and the most important there's great quietness all time. There's a quite outdoor tables and seats if you prefer breakfast or drink tea or coffee during the day. It's 20-25 mins from / to airport and taxi service works 24/7 I highly recommend it for all types of travelers.

Price versus what you get is very fine. Owner picked me up from airport at 06:00h. in the morning! Bathroom necessities like toothpaste and brush, shampoo, soap are there. Location is good and on walking distance to center. Maybe something like 20-30 minutes. Breakfast is served to you. Almaty is amazing with the beautiful Mountains so close. Take bus Number 12 to get there or take taxi. From Almaty I went to Bishek. At the busstation you can buy a ticket for mini-van, but I went for taxi and paid 5000 Tenge to the border. You have to wait till car is full. At other side of border you take another taxi to city. Will cost something like 200 to 300 Som. You cross border by feet.
