This was our first time in Europe and this was the highlight of a 15 day trip through many cities. My spouse Shaun & I visited so I could reconnect , learn, and experience where my grandfather and great grandparents were from before moving to the States. I felt very welcomed by Giuseppina and her children Benedetto and Domenico and felt like family. When you travel here and if you do not speak Italian, download Google Translate and spend time talking with everyone. I look forward to the day when I can return. The Airbnb is beautiful, the view magnificent from the balcony, but it’s the people here that I feel deeply connected and Giuseppina is an amazing host!

L’Antica Balbia was fabulous, as we were the only ones there we had the house to ourselves! Maria was amazing, so helpful, friendly & accommodating! She made amazing cakes for us to have at breakfast & we also had enough food to make panini for lunch ! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Altomonte! Lovely town with friendly people. Our host Anna went out of her way to help us in times of need and provide a picture of the history of her palace. Amazing home and her new restaurant should be a success as our breakfast and dinner was really authentic and just as we wished. Anna is a great cook and a professional musician to boot.
